The Role:
• To prompt and support a 16 – year – old autistic young lady to access the community to enable main carer who is deaf to have a break.
Main Duties:
• Café Trips
• Walks
• Shopping
• Life Skills
• Understanding and managing money
Personal Qualities and Attributes required:
• Respectful of confidentiality and privacy
• Responsible, reliable and trustworthy
• Respectful of dignity and independence
• Good communication skills and social skills
• Punctual, reliable and flexible
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Understanding, adaptable and organised
• Must like cats
• Potential for hearing dogs to be in the property in the future
• Car owner with driving licence, use of own vehicle required, and business insurance essential.
FOR EMPLOYED: Please note that this role may be subject to a DBS check, your employer may also ask for you to supply references.
You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK. No sponsorships are available.
FOR SE: Please note that the person undertaking this role may be requested to supply evidence of DBS clearance and/or references where appropriate.
Hours: 6 hours per fortnight to be worked either Monday, Friday or Saturday 9.00am – 3.00pm
Pay:
£13.57 per hour Employed
£16.07 per hour Self - Employed
