Activity Professional ( Sports Coach ) Part Time

-Part time hours that can progress into full time.
-Tue - Thur 1.00 pm - 5.30pm

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Sports Coach to join our team in the local area. This role plays a vital part in inspiring young children to enjoy sports and stay active. As part of Premier Education, you will contribute to our mission of fostering healthy habits and building confidence through engaging physical activities.

Responsibilities

Preparation, organisation and delivery of high quality and engaging physical activity sessions for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 pupils
Be a positive role model and inspire and motivate children to their highest level of achievement

Ensure the quality of teaching and learning is of the highest possible standards
Be able to differentiate activities to suit the needs of all children
Provide positive behaviour management and a purposeful learning environment for children
Maintain appropriate pupil assessment records and data collection
Implement and operate in accordance with Premier Education policies and procedures

Be committed to continuous professional development (CPD) relevant to the role
To attend and contribute to meetings/development time as required
To be confident regarding your role in Risk assessments, safeguarding and first aid reporting and responsibilities

Qualifications
-Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working with primary aged children in a school curriculum setting (PE lessons) (Essential)
-Hold a minimum NGB Level 2 coaching certificate
-Proven Sports coaching experience in various sports
-Full driving Licence and access to your own transport (Preferred
-Passion for promoting physical activity, teamwork, and positive values.
-Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
-Understanding of child development and the ability to adapt coaching techniques accordingly.
