Primary Teaching Assistant - Day-to-Day Supply

Location: East Grinstead & Surrounding Areas

Pay: £90 - £95 per day (Weekly Pay)

Contract: Day-to-Day Supply (Flexible)

We are seeking friendly, energetic Primary Teaching Assistants to join our East Grinstead supply team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across various local Primary schools, supporting children from EYFS through to Year 6 in the heart of West Sussex.

The Day-to-Day Role

As a Primary Supply TA, you will be an essential part of the school day. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Classroom Support: Assisting the teacher with lesson setup and helping pupils stay on task.

  • Core Skills: Supporting small groups with reading, writing, and phonics (KS1) or numeracy and literacy (KS2).

  • Early Years/KS1: Helping younger children learn through play and develop their social skills.

  • Well-being: Providing a supportive environment and helping with lunchtime or playground supervision.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: Previous experience working with children (schools, nurseries, sports coaching, or youth groups).

  • Requirements: An enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply for one).
