About the Role:
We are a dedicated charity providing high-quality supported living services for adults with complex needs. We are seeking a motivated Support Manager to lead our team in York, supporting 5 individuals across our services.
In this role, you will manage daily operations, lead a staff team, and ensure safe, person-centred care. You will work closely with service users, families, and external professionals to maintain high standards of support and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and develop a team of support staff
Oversee the wellbeing, safety, and development of 5 service users
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and organisational policies
Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals, and performance monitoring
Maintain and review support plans, risk assessments, and welfare checks
Promote independence and positive outcomes for service users
Liaise with families, health professionals, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Level 5 preferred)
Experience in managing supported living or similar services
Knowledge of safeguarding, compliance, and welfare checks
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Full driving licence essential
