Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week - Monday - Friday 08:30 am - 5:00 pm with one hour for lunch, unpaid.
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience + commission & bonus scheme

SUMMARY
The Contract Sales Associate plays a key role in driving customer retention and profitability by identifying, managing, and optimising contract renewal and restructuring opportunities. This position bridges commercial strategy and operational execution, ensuring that all contracts are structured to support business objectives, deliver customer satisfaction, and maintain compliance with company standards.

The role involves close collaboration with Sales, Service, and Operations teams to assess current agreements, identify renewal or restructuring needs, and negotiate terms that balance customer value with business performance goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Relationship Building: Builds strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs, providing responsive support, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the contract process. Works proactively to maintain trust, enhance client satisfaction, and position the company as a reliable partner for future business.
• Contract Renewal & Expansion: Proactively identify and manage renewal and expansion opportunities within existing customer accounts. Maintain an in-depth understanding of customer requirements, service-level agreements (SLAs), print volumes, and device performance to recommend optimal contract solutions and profitability
• Contract Structuring & Negotiation: Develop pricing models and negotiate service contracts, rental agreements, and other commercial arrangements that align with customer needs while meeting company profitability targets and compliance standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Service, and Operations teams to ensure that all contract terms and structures are aligned with departmental goals and deliver seamless service outcomes.
• Performance Optimisation: Coordinate and manage service swaps, device replacements, or upgrades as required, ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations and alignment with agreed contractual terms.
• Transactional Sales: Input orders into the Company's system with 100% accuracy. Check product codes, quantities, and delivery details for a smooth machine build and installation. Communicate any special client requirements to relevant departments. Handle discrepancies or errors promptly.

KEY MEASUREMENTS
• Volume and value of contract renewals and extensions.
• Profitability of service contracts.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Strong understanding of the print industry, products, services, and market trends.
• Preferred experience in a sales, account management, or contract negotiation role.
