Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding techniques particularly TIG, and will be responsible for fabricating and assembling components to meet specifications.
Duties
Fabricate and assemble metal components using TIG welding techniques.
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
Fabricate components according to technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Conduct quality checks on welds and fabricated components to ensure compliance with standards.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow efficiency.
Experience
Proven experience in TIG welding is essential, with a strong understanding of welding principles.
Strong knowledge of fabrication processes involving sheet metal and mechanical assembly.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Mechanical knowledge combined with basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
Experience working with various materials such as steel or aluminium is advantageous.
Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
