Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous janitorial experience or those eager to develop their skills within the cleaning industry.
Duties (but not limited to);
Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
Disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, switches, and fixtures
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning products as needed
Ensure waste is properly disposed of and bins are emptied regularly
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or hazards
Skills
Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
Strong attention to detail with an organised approach to tasks
Ability to work independently and efficiently without supervision
Good time management skills to complete assigned duties within designated shifts
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is advantageous
