As a Vehicle Workshop Controller, your primary duties will involve:
- Managing daily workshop operations and supervising a team of 12 to 15 Vehicle Technicians.

- Communicating customer requirements clearly and effectively within the Service Department.
- Monitoring team performance and workshop efficiencies to meet key performance indicators.
- Planning and allocating workflow based on technician skill levels and workload.
- Identifying individual training needs and supporting professional development.
- Liaising between workshop and service reception to keep customers informed on vehicle progress.
- Upholding high workshop standards in compliance with HSO requirements.
- Ensuring adherence to brand service standards and customer satisfaction targets.
The ideal Workshop Controller will possess:
- Proven experience managing or supervising an automotive workshop or a highly skilled Vehicle Service Advisor transitioning into a workshop controlling role.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- IT literacy and capability to manage workshop management systems.
- A valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
- Residing in or near Cheltenham, or within a reasonable commuting distance.
