Summary

Contract: Fixed term contract for 12 months

We’re looking for an experienced electrician to join our team as an Electrical Customer Delivery Manager. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll report to the M&E Programme Manager and oversee a team of approximately 12 electricians. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations while maintaining compliance with NICEIC standards.

You’ll be a key player in driving performance and ensuring customer satisfaction by leading by example. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coaching your team on a day-to-day basis.

  • Conducting pre- and post-work audits.

  • Managing projects up to £25,000 in value.

  • Coordinating hired plant and operators.

  • Ensuring safe working methods and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

  • Accurately recording all works, variations, and unmeasured tasks.

This is a mobile, full-time role offering a flexible working week split between home, site, and office locations.

What we're looking for

Qualifications:

  • City and Guilds 2360 Part 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation)

  • City and Guilds 2391 Part 1 and 2 (Electrical Inspection Testing and Certification) or equivalent

  • Current City & Guilds qualification to the latest edition of electrical regulations

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

  • Achievement Level 2 (AM2) practical qualification

  • Successful completion of a recognised apprenticeship

Experience:

  • Extensive recent experience as a domestic installation electrician

  • Proven ability in designing, wiring, and testing installations

  • Experience in site management

  • Strong customer service skills in a client-facing environment

Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general IT systems

  • Ability to motivate and lead effective teams

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • A flexible, solutions-focused approach to work

Additional Requirements

  • This is a roaming position, so regular travel between sites is expected.

  • A Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

  • An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
