This role sits at the crucial intersection of safety, housing and recovery, helping survivors stay safe and rebuild their lives with dignity and stability.You will lead a newly established team embedded within local authority housing services, strengthening responses to domestic abuse and creating clear, practical pathways to safety and resettlement. About the RoleIn this role, you will:Lead and supervise Domestic Abuse Practitioners embedded within housing teams across North Yorkshire, managing a newly established service.Hold a small caseload, delivering trauma-informed safety planning, homelessness prevention and housing-related support.Work closely with local authority housing teams and partner agencies to deliver coordinated, high-quality responses.Attend and contribute to multi-agency forums including MARAC, MATAC and MAPPA, escalating risk and advocating for survivor safety.Oversee case allocation, staffing and performance management, including recruitment, induction and development.Model and promote IDAS values through collaborative, professional practice.Monitor outcomes and produce reports for senior management, funders and stakeholders.Champion equality, diversity and inclusion, ensuring services are accessible, safe and responsive to all communities In return, we offer:Comprehensive training and development opportunitiesCompetitive salary:£33,699 FTE 26 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time)Contributory pension schemeEmployer-paid health cash planAccess to national discount schemes Contract: Fixed term until March 2028 with possibility of extension depending on funding Location: Co-located in council housing team and IDAS offices in Northallerton Hours: Full TimePlease refer to the job description linked in the right-hand menu for more information about the role and click on Apply below.Closing date: 09:00 AM on 23/02/26Interview date: TBCWe look forward to receiving your completed application.If you have any queries regarding your application, please email: hrandpayroll@idas.org.uk
