Crynodeb

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the R&D Finance costing team to support the high levels of research activity taking place at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Where research involves the use of Trust resources, the full extent of those resources must be identified, costed, and adequate funding secured to meet these costs. This will involve making sure all research activitiesare costed within the rules of the appropriate funding bodies, or follow the national costing process. In addition the costing activity must be completed to time and target to meet the new national 150-day metrics for study setup for research.

Grant applications for research funding are reviewed together with the applicant to ensure the funds requested are adequate and appropriate and are within the terms and conditions of the grant funding.

Once funding is agreed, draft contracts are reviewed to ensure the funding is correctly represented, before financial approval is given.
