Crynodeb
The main duties and responsibilities of the appointee will be:To provide Senior Middle Grade cover for all orthopaedics duties as detailed below, includingparticipating in the on-call rota.To work with the existing orthopaedic surgeons across both Ashford andSt. Peters Hospitals to provide an efficient and effective orthopaedic service.To provide inpatients, day case and outpatients care for the patients requiring elective emergencyorthopaedic surgery, in accordance with the Trust contractual obligations.The new Clinical Fellow is required to adopt a continuing responsibility for the care of patients inhis/her charge and in partnership with other colleagues working in the speciality for the properfunction of the department to which he/she is appointed.The Clinical Fellow would undertake to ensure that clinical audit was an on-going programme andthat agreed actions required as indicated from audit were implemented.
