Job Description
Key Responsibilities
•Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with NMC standards and organisational policies.
•Deliver person-centred care to patients/residents, including those with mental health needs or learning disabilities.
•Administer medications safely and monitor patient conditions.
•Maintain strict infection control and adhere to COSHH regulations.
•Ensure patient nutrition and hydration needs are met, including assessing foods and fluids intake.
•Uphold safeguarding procedures and recognise/report concerns promptly.
•Support patients under the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) & DoLS guidelines.
•Maintain accurate patient records in line with Data Protection / Information Governance requirements.
•Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of care delivery.
•Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as required.
•Participate in continuous professional development and mandatory training updates
Requirements
• Valid Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)
• Nurse Diploma ✅
• Mental Health / Learning Disabilities Awareness
• Adult Safeguarding
• COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
• First Aid
• Food Safety
• Data Protection / Information Governance
• Equality and Diversity
• Infection Control
• Foods and Fluids (Nutrition)
• Mental Capacity Act (MCA) & Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)
Additional Notes:
•This is a temporary agency role, offering a flexible schedule across day, night, and weekend shifts.
•Competitive hourly pay based on experience and qualifications.
