The Opportunity:
We are seeking an accomplished leader to steer our Research Contracts Team ensuring excellence in delivery of our research contracting services, supporting the University’s research ambitions.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
Your skills and attributes for success:
You will be an experienced leader of large teams providing frontline services, ideally in a higher education research environment
You will demonstrate experience with increasing responsibilities and have a recognised legal or research management qualification
You will have substantial experience in research contracting in the UK and overseas
You will be able to demonstrate success in service improvement initiatives, resource planning and workload management
You will be a highly proactive and creative thinker, skilled in motivating diverse teams and collaborating effectively in large organisations
