Your new role
As a Clinical Research Physician, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient delivery of clinical studies at a dedicated research site in Birmingham. Working Monday to Friday (37 hours per week), you will act as a Principal or Co‑Investigator across a range of studies, ensuring adherence to ICH/GCP guidelines and local regulations.You will be responsible for the clinical evaluation of study participants, contributing to recruitment strategies, supporting study start‑up activities, attending investigator meetings, and ensuring patient safety throughout the full lifecycle of each study. You will also oversee protocol interpretation, data review, investigational product management, and study documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Full GMC registration with no limitations to practice
- Ideally, previous experience in clinical research
- A solid understanding of ICH/GCP and local regulatory requirements
- Strong attention to detail in clinical documentation and data management
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with both colleagues and patients
