Job Title: National Lead for Digital Care Planning

Location: Remote
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 depending on experience

Contract: 18-month FTC

Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and currently reside within the United Kingdom.

United Response is seeking a National Lead for Digital Care Planning to drive the strategic development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of person-centred documentation across all services. This pivotal role will ensure documentation reflects best practice, meets regulatory requirements, and is shaped by the lived experiences of people who draw on our care and support. The postholder will champion the effective use of Nourish digital care planning software, embedding personalised, outcome-focused documentation that enables safe, high quality, and compassionate care.

What skills you will bring:

You will bring experience of working within adult social care or healthcare settings, alongside a strong understanding of person-centred care principles and the relevant regulatory frameworks. You will be confident in applying these principles to documentation and care planning to ensure high-quality, compliant, and meaningful records.

You will have experience using digital care planning systems, ideally Nourish, and be comfortable supporting others to use technology effectively. Strong communication, facilitation, and project management skills are essential, enabling you to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and drive change across services.

A solid understanding of co-production will be central to your approach, ensuring that people who draw on our care and support are actively involved in shaping documentation and care planning.

Desirable skills include experience in co-production or service user engagement, knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, and an understanding of data protection requirements and digital record-keeping standards. These will support continuous improvement and ensure documentation remains safe, secure, and fit for purpose.
