Job Title: Cleaner
Type of Business: Public Sector
Location: Rotherham, S65 1EG
Salary: £24,431.72 per annum (Pro rata £9,904.75)

GI Group are now seeking 2 experienced Cleaners for our Public Sector client.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cleaning, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will be responsible for ensuring all assigned areas are cleaned to the highest standards while adhering to health and safety regulations.

The hours will be:
15 hours per week - 05:30am - 08:30am, Monday to Friday)

Main duties of the cleaner:
* Perform general cleaning operations inside and outside buildings.
* Complete multi-surface cleaning tasks.
* Operate cleaning machines as trained and instructed.
* Ensure buildings are prepared and ready for daily use.
* Safely use cleaning products and equipment as per training.
* Undertake seasonal and ad-hoc cleaning/sanitising duties as required.
* Use all cleaning products and materials according to training and guidance.
* Sweep and litter pick external areas.
* Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of outside spaces.
* Proactively report any health and safety faults to the Estate Teams for prompt resolution.

Role requirements:
* Reasonable cleaning experience required, ideally in an office environment.
* Experience using a range of cleaning equipment and substances.
* Must hold or be willing to work towards Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A-C/4-9 or equivalent).
* Must hold or be willing to work towards Emergency First Aid at Work qualification
* High flexibility to respond to changing demands and urgent jobs.
* Willingness to support colleagues across the Estates/Facilities team.
* Must hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS.
