Neway International are seeking an Estate Services Manager (Ground Maintenance) to join our client based with Southern Housing.
Location: Mosaic East, 4th Floor, 17 Addiscombe Road, Croydon, CR0 6SR
Hours: 35 per week
Work Pattern: Varies weekly according to business need

The Role
The Estate Services Manager will oversee the delivery of grounds maintenance services across a defined portfolio, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety and environmental care. You will manage contractors and operatives, monitor performance, and ensure services are delivered efficiently, consistently and in line with organisational expectations. This role supports a vacant budgeted post and requires a confident, proactive manager with strong operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day delivery of grounds maintenance services across allocated estates
Oversee contractor performance, ensuring work meets required standards
Conduct regular estate inspections and identify areas for improvement
Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements across all activities
Liaise with residents, internal teams and external partners to resolve issues
Monitor budgets, resources and service delivery targets
Support continuous improvement across Estate Services
Provide clear reporting on performance, risks and service outcomes
Ensure all work aligns with Southern Housing’s customer service standards
Candidate Requirements
Experience managing grounds maintenance or estate services operations
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage contractors and monitor performance effectively
Knowledge of health and safety requirements within estate services
Confident working across multiple sites with a flexible approach
Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities
