KS1 Teaching Assistant - Southwark - Start Date: As soon as possible.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a KS1 Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis, alongside a lively, busy KS1 class. The school is located in the centre of Southwark, in the South East London area.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to work as a KS1 Teaching Assistant, alongside an established Year 1 Teacher. The class are a bright and sociable class with lots of personality, enthusiasm, and a real love of getting involved with their own learning.
The Role Includes:
- Working for a reputable education agency - Remedy
- Work collaboratively with staff and parents.
- Long term cover opportunity to cover a maternity leave.
- Supporting the class teacher with learning, reading and group activities.
We are looking for someone who:
- Must have experience supporting a KS1 class (experience is desirable).
- Obtains a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate (minimum).
- Is patient, caring and reliable.
- Comfortable in supporting SEN pupils within the classroom.
- Enhanced DBS.
- Available to start ASAP.
- Commute to Southwark
- Fully registered to work with Remedy
Pay: £100 - £120 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
