SEN Teaching Assistant - EYFS & KS1 (SEN School)
We are looking to appoint a skilled and compassionate Senior SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school, supporting children in EYFS and KS1. All pupils have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and many are non-verbal, requiring consistent and structured communication support.
This is a full-time, long-term role, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person.
The Role:

Supporting non-verbal pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis

Using PECS, Now & Next boards, visual timetables and other AAC strategies

The Ideal Candidate:

Has strong experience working with non-verbal children in an SEN setting
