I am Patricia Eagling, Internal Recruiter at Home Instead, Welwyn & Hatfield and I will be the person you will be dealing with when you make your job application.
I am now seeking new people to join our highly successful weekend & evening team of care professionals. We are happy to train people without previous experience but to be successful you must have a UK driving licence and your own car. We are community based visiting clients in their own homes and travelling between them daily, making a car essential.
We have an accelerated onboarding programme to help you get started as soon as possible. On a successful interview you will leave with a job offer and a date for induction. We will do our best to work with your availability, so we shun fixed shifts in favour of flexible working, so if you can only offer a couple of hours daily, we are happy to talk to you.
Care Assistant Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent timekeeper who is organised and reliable.
Valid driving licence and access to vehicle - Mandatory.
Right to Work in the UK.
Happy to work evenings and weekends/
Benefits:
£13.40 per hour worked, plus double time on Bank Holidays.
Minimum 1-hour visits, no part payments - full hour paid.
Travel expenses paid.
You are fully paid for all work requirements, including travel time, contact time, online learning, training, workshops.
Continuous Professional Development, continuously upskilling staff.
Paid holidays, pension + lots of other benefits.
How to Apply:
If you would like to learn more about the opportunities we have available, then email me Patricia Eagling, Recruitment Manager at:
pat.eagling@welwyn.homeinstead.co.uk
Please note this role is based and will involve travelling around Hertfordshire and the Right to Work in the UK will need to be established as part of the recruitment process. This office currently does not have a licence to issue a COS (Certificate of Sponsorship)
