18 hours per week, 7.30am - 9.30am Mon - Fri & 2.30pm - 4.30pm daily Mon - Thurs - Term Time only
Join our Transport team as an SEN Passenger Assistant and support children with special education needs (SEN) in our community to safely travel to and from Meadowfield School in Sittingbourne during term time.
You’ll play a vital part in ensuring sure every child is supported and comfortable as they attend school, and give their parents the reassurance of their child’s safety on our bus.
Ideally, applicants should live in the Sittingbourne area or be able to meet our driver at a designated point in Sittingbourne at the beginning of the shift.
The successful candidate will need to have experience of looking after children, be patient and calm and have excellent communication skills.

The position requires an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Services Check (DBS) and attendance of a Kent County Council approved Passenger Assistant training course (both arranged by Compaid if a KCC Passenger Assistant badge is not already held).
