A rapidly growing groundwork and tarmacking contractor in Stafford is looking for a driven Sales Coordinator to join its commercial team to manage day-to-day sales activity, coordinate enquiries, follow up quotations and maintain accurate sales data and reporting.
As the Sales Coordinator, your key responsibilities will be to:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
* Manage incoming sales enquiries and internal sales processes.
* Follow up quotations and proactively identify additional quoting opportunities.
* Answer sales and direct incoming telephone calls.
* Track customer performance and support sales monitoring and reporting.
* Maintain accurate internal customer records and databases.
* Collaborate closely with estimating, contracts and wider business teams.
* Assist with the preparation of office and commercial documentation.
* Carry out general administrative duties including data input, scanning and document control.
The Sales Coordinator will have the following skills and experience:
* Proven experience working in a sales coordination or administrative role within construction or civils is essential.
* Strong time-management and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Database or CRM experience (experience using HubSpot desirable)
* Knowledge of tendering and procurement processes would be a distinct advantage.
You will be working Monday to Friday, from the office in Stafford. In return you'll receive a competitive salary up to £35,000 with performance‑related bonuses, ongoing training, and the opportunity to play a key role in the company's continued expansion.
