Are you passionate about giving children the best start in life? Do you enjoy working with families and want to make a real difference in their community? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Family Advisor to join our Family Hub team. The postholder will work within the Family Hubs across the North of the Borough (Macclesfield, Congleton and Wilmslow) to support children 0-19 (25 for young people with SEND).
Family hubs provide a universal ‘front door’ to families, offering a ‘one-stop shop’ of family help services across their social care, education, mental health and physical health needs, with a comprehensive offer for parents and babies at its core. Enabling families can receive timely and appropriate information tailored to their needs.

About the Role:
Work across Cheshire East’s Family Hubs in the North of the Borough (Macclesfield, Congleton and Wilmslow), to support children aged 0–19 (or up to 25 for young people with SEND). To bring council, health and community services together so that families can access the right support at the right time.
Collaborate with Family Hub teams to provide high-quality, integrated support services. Via a variety of administrative tasks i.e., booking rooms, appointments, data collection, entry and ordering of resources.
Receive enquiries from members of the public, professionals (via face to face, electronic and telephone channels) and provide appropriate, consistent advice, signposting and guidance.
Communication, organisation, and customer service skills within a public service setting are critical.

Passionate about supporting children, young people, and families.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
