Our client is a well established regional law firm known for high quality work, a client focused and inclusive culture, and strong recognition in the legal directories. The Family team has a significant regional presence and supports a diverse client base, often involving complex or sensitive matters, including those with rural or high value interests.
Your new role
In this role, you will handle a broad and varied caseload, working closely with experienced colleagues to deliver clear, practical and client focused advice. The work offers strong exposure to matters that are often sensitive or complex, providing valuable experience and the chance to develop your skills within a supportive team.
In addition to your day to day fee earning responsibilities, you will contribute to wider team initiatives and business development activity, helping to strengthen relationships and grow the department's profile. While primarily based in the regional office, there will be opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across other locations, allowing you to expand both your knowledge and your professional network.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a newly qualified solicitor with a Family seat or an Assistant Solicitor with up to around four years' PQE in a Family law setting. You will bring strong communication skills, a client focused mindset and the ability to present complex matters in a clear and practical way. The role requires excellent organisational skills, confidence in managing your own workload and a readiness to seek guidance when needed. You should enjoy building and maintaining positive client and referrer relationships, feel comfortable taking part in business development activity, and show a genuine commitment to your ongoing professional development.
