About the Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key part in the smooth running of our production and dispatch processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Picking and locating materials and supplies listed on production orders
- Loading and unloading pallets and cartons from vehicles
- Ensuring compliance with packing, materials handling, safety, and equipment procedures
- Labelling, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment
- Working individually or as part of a team to meet daily targets
- Rotating across different workstations as required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Carrying out additional duties as assigned
Skills & Experience Needed
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret information accurately
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
- Good time management skills
- Knowledge of inventory control
- Ability to lift heavy materials
- Basic computer literacy
- Forklift experience is desirable (training can be provided)
What We Offer
- £24,111.36 per annum
- 36-hour working week (Monday-Thursday, 06:30-16:00)
- 180 hours annual leave (including up to 27 hours reserved for Christmas shutdown)
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Full training and support provided
