About the Role
We are working with an award winning care provider based in Devon to recruit an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager with a strong background in the nursing home sector. This is a key strategic role for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding standards of care while driving sustainable business growth.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting 5 nursing and residential homes to thrive — operationally, financially, and will make a genuine difference to the lives of residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Support and mentor Registered Managers, helping them to achieve excellence in care delivery and operational performance
Drive profitability and financial performance, identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency
Lead on private resident acquisition, occupancy growth, and fee optimisation
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote services and strengthen local reputation
Conduct audits and quality assurance reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal best practice
Lead business development initiatives, including new opportunities and service improvements
Build and maintain strong relationships within the local care community, including commissioners, healthcare professionals, and external partners
Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and forward-thinking approaches to care delivery
Play a key role in raising and sustaining high standards of care and governance across services
About You
Proven senior leadership experience within the nursing home or care sector
Strong commercial awareness with a track record of improving profitability and occupancy
Experienced in quality assurance, auditing, and regulatory compliance
Confident in supporting, challenging, and developing Registered Managers
Skilled in marketing, business development, and stakeholder engagement
Passionate about delivering exceptional standards of care
Forward-thinking, proactive, and able to drive positive change
Excellent communication and leadership skills
