Flissy’s Coffee Shop is a well-established, family-run business at the heart of Thurstaston. We’re ready to expand our current management team and are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager who is passionate about hospitality and wants to build a long-term career with us.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit team where your contribution truly matters. As Assistant Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the coffee shop, lead by example on the shop floor, and help maintain our warm, welcoming atmosphere for both staff and customers.

What your working week will look like:
You will be given a permanent contract of 37.5 hours per week or we have an optional 32 hour per week contract which will be worked over 4 days.
Day’s you’ll be working:
Monday
Tuesday
Thursday
Friday
Sunday
Every Wednesday and Saturday will be your days off work (you will be required to work the odd Saturday in the event of the General Managers absence).
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking someone with strong hospitality experience who can thrive in a busy environment and bring out the best in our team. The ideal candidate will:
Have experience in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality setting
Be confident managing a large team and delegating tasks effectively
Take a hands-on approach, keen to get stuck in wherever needed
Be passionate about delivering excellent customer service
Have the ability to think on their feet and work well under pressure
Bring barista and kitchen experience to support the team
Support employees with training and development, nurturing their growth
Assist the General Manager and confidently act as a leader in their absence
Be passionate about bringing the brand to life and creating memorable customer experiences
Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding high standards
