Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and personable Telesales Executive / Sales Assistant to join our telesales team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be organised, have a passion for selling and delivering outstanding customer service. Fluency in English, is essential to effectively communicate with potential customers as well as serve our existing customer base. This role involves engaging with customers over the phone, promoting products and services, and preparing and maintaining data. The position offers an opportunity to develop organisational skills within a sales setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organise customer and sales data.
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude on the phone.
- Actively listen to customer needs and respond appropriately.
- Clearly and confidently explain product features and benefits.
- Schedule appointments for sales representatives with qualified prospects.
- Manage and update company social media accounts.
- Coordinate and manage the field sales team’s appointment diaries.
- Accurately record and update customer information in internal databases.
- Log all appointments in the CRM system with complete and accurate details.
Experience
- Previous experience in telesales and/or sales is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage potential and existing customers effectively.
- Good time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours.
- Organised with the ability to maintain attention to detail in merchandising and stock management.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse customers.
- Experience with Zoho CRM is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
