Crynodeb

We are looking for a quality lead with NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care (or
actively working towards it). who has a deep understanding of CQC (Care Quality
Commission) regulations, safeguarding, and compliance framework, and have
experience in auditing, policy development,t and compliance, who is passionate
about expanding a premium, private-led care business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Governance and Compliance Leadership (Lead Role); Act as the lead advisor
and auditor for the service. Provide expert advice on adult safeguarding, the
Mental Capacity Act 2005, Liberty Protection Safeguards (LPS), and broader
quality and safety matters. Lead by example, promoting a culture of accountability,
continuous learning, and person-centred care across the organisation as required.
• Quality & Compliance; Take full responsibility for CQC compliance, leading on
audits, incident management, and continuous improvement. This role is key to
maintaining and building upon our CQC rating.
Develop and deliver training programs on safeguarding, quality, and the Mental
Capacity Act, and professional standards. Support reflective practice and mentoring
for staff to strengthen quality care delivery.
• Practice Improvement; Analyse audits, complaints, safeguarding incidents, and
other quality monitoring tools to identify areas of risk or gaps in practice, and
develop and deliver workshops or refresher sessions to address practice gaps and
embed safe, compliant, and person-centred care practices.
Promote inclusive practice, tackle discrimination, and support a positive community
and workplace relations.
• Cascading Findings; Cascade findings to the senior leadership team, field staff,
carers and support workers, ensuring learning is implemented across all levels of
the organisation.
• Complaints Oversight and Learning: Lead the complaints process, ensuring
Investigations are thorough, timely, and fair.
Analyse trends, produce reports, and ensure learning from complaints is shared
throughout the organisation.
Advise senior managers on organisational improvements resulting from
complaints and feedback.
• Multi-Agency and Organisational Collaboration; Represent Nwando Care in local
and regional groups, sharing insights and ensuring best practice. Collaborate
across teams, departments, and agencies to promote a consistent and high
standard of care.
