Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced, efficient and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our friendly early years setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who is committed to providing outstanding care and education for young children while inspiring and supporting a dedicated staff team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day management of the nursery
Ensure the highest standards of care, learning, and safeguarding at all times
Manage, motivate, and develop the nursery team
Maintain compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding requirements
Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
Oversee staffing, rotas
Promote a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above desirable)
Previous experience in a leadership or management role within an early years setting
Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A warm, caring, and professional approach
Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
