Glen Group are actively recruiting for a Permanent, Full-Time Area Supervisor to join a well-established and growing cleaning business in the Derby area.
Due to the different shift times within the portfolio, You must be available for work between the hours of 5am to 9pm. Monday to Friday. Average 35 hours a week, we do require candidates who are able to be flexible, as shift patterns may change depending on Sickness & demand.
This is a hands-on cleaning position, so cleaning is required and experience is essential, full training will be provided.
We are looking for someone with knowledge of cleaning and to be part of the Glen family, you will need to demonstrate diplomacy with fellow staff, customers, and your surroundings.
You must be trustworthy, well-organized flexible, and reliable with a keen eye for attention to detail.
Full UK driving licence required as company vehicle provided.
Company mobile phone provided
Uniform provided.
CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR SOME SITE ACCESS
SC Clearance will be required and applied for so 5 year working history.
Enhanced DBS required and applied for
Key Responsibilities
Planning staff holidays.
Dealing with on-site issues
Respond to Customer/ Site Team
Communication with our clients.
Visiting our on-site cleaning teams
Communication with our staff
Training new starters.
Refresh training all staff
Be flexible on working times.
Working closely with our Area Manager
Follow all COSHH, H/S and colour coding.
Use of Timegate for Actual pay
Daily rectification of faults and correcting issues
Cleaning a mix of areas thoroughly
Auditing sites with clients
Cover cleaning, short notice sickness and holidays where required.
