Are you ready to guide high-value, complex construction projects to success? As a Senior Project Manager at Kier, you'll provide crucial leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from tender to delivery. You'll nurture collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues while overseeing budgets, programmes and quality standards to achieve exceptional results. You can expect to lead on a project with values ranging from £15m to £60m across various sectors including Ediucation, Health, MOD and MOJ.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be working within the project team, supporting them in delivering construction projects safely, on time and to budget.
Your day to day will include:
-Leading and nurturing multi-disciplinary project teams to meet client expectations
-Building relationships with clients and stakeholders, understanding their goals and providing clear communication
-Managing project budgets and programmes, ensuring timely reporting and risk mitigation
-Negotiating with contractors and suppliers to ensure value delivery
-Implementing Kier's safety, health and environmental policies to create a safe working environment
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Project Manager is great for you if:
-You have significant experience leading construction projects from pre-construction to delivery
-You're skilled at managing project budgets, programmes and teams effectively
-You're an excellent communicator who can build trust and foster collaboration
-You have expert knowledge of NEC and JCT contract conditions
-You possess relevant construction qualifications and professional membership (e.g. CIOB/ICE)
