We are looking for a passionate and experienced Room Leader to join a friendly nursery setting in Northwich, Cheshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Nursery Nurse or an experienced Practitioner looking to step up into management. You will be leading a dedicated team, ensuring that high standards of care and early years education are maintained in a warm, welcoming environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Room Management: Lead the day-to-day running of your specific room (Baby, Toddler, or Pre-school), ensuring ratios and routines are managed effectively.

Team Mentoring: Support, guide, and motivate a team of Nursery Practitioners to deliver best practice.

EYFS Planning: Oversee the planning of stimulating activities that meet the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

Child Progress: Ensure all learning journals and development tracking are kept up to date by your team.

Safeguarding: Act as a role model for safeguarding and health & safety procedures.

Parent Partnership: Build strong, trusted relationships with parents and carers, providing daily feedback.

Skills and Experience Required
Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 NVQ/CACHE Diploma in Childcare / Early Years (or higher).

Experience: Previous experience in a nursery setting is essential, ideally with some experience leading a team or acting as a senior.

Knowledge: Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted inspection standards.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Northwich, Cheshire.
