We are actively recruiting for a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join a popular and well-established nursery in Birmingham.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Child Development: Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years, ensuring they feel safe and happy.

Activities: Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities based on the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework.

Key Person: Act as a Key Person for a group of children, maintaining up-to-date learning journals and tracking progress.

Safeguarding: Uphold rigorous safeguarding and health & safety policies to ensure a secure environment.

Communication: Build positive relationships with parents and carers, providing daily feedback on their child’s wellbeing.

Teamwork: Collaborate with the Room Leader and other staff to maintain a smooth daily routine.

Skills and Experience Required
Qualification: Essential minimum Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ/CACHE Diploma in Childcare or Early Years.

Experience: Previous experience working in a nursery, preschool, or school setting is preferred.

Knowledge: Solid understanding of Ofsted regulations, the EYFS, and Safeguarding procedures.

Attributes: Energetic, reliable, and committed to a career in childcare.

Checks: An enhanced DBS check is required for this position.
