Vehicle Technician – Multiple Levels Available
Location: Leicester
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm (30‑minute lunch)
Flexibility on start/finish times can be discussed at interview stage.
Salary Packages (DOE)
- Service Technician: £32,000 + £6,000 uncapped bonuses
- Diagnostic Technician: £36,000 + £6,000 uncapped bonuses
- Diagnostic Technician (with MOT Licence): £38,000 + £6,000 uncapped bonuses
- Master Technician: £42,000 + uncapped bonuses
Brand accreditation and EV training required for Master Tech level
Overview
I’m currently supporting a well‑established automotive group in Leicester who are looking to expand their workshop team across several technician levels. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking stability, progression, and a genuinely supportive working environment.

Role Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
- Diagnose faults, including complex systems depending on experience
- Repair brakes, suspension, clutch systems, and cambelts
- Complete accurate documentation and video vehicle health checks
- Deliver first‑time fixes and high‑quality workmanship
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Support junior team members (where relevant)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workshop environment
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- MOT Testing Licence (where applicable)
- Brand accreditation + EV training for Master Technician roles
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Reliable work history and consistent attendance
- Proactive approach to learning, especially around EV/hybrid technology
- Excellent communication and customer‑focused mindset
- Own a well‑stocked toolbox suitable for workshop duties
