Package Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Grounds Person to join our Grounds Team. The successful candidate will help maintain our gardens, sports pitches, golf course and wider estate to the highest standards, supporting both School life and public use of the grounds.

Key Responsibilities include preparation, renovation and repair of sports pitches, general grounds maintenance around school buildings, drainage works and fencing repairs and use of machinery in line with health and safety requirements.

As well as a love for the outdoors, ideally you will have experience in a similar role, have strong organisational and time‑keeping skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Stowe School

Stowe School occupies Stowe House and approximately 200 acres of the Stowe estate and is located in Stowe’s world-famous landscape gardens set in 880 acres. Stowe School is an independent co-educational boarding School with approximately 900 pupils. There are around 500 full and part-time staff with 60 staff and their families living on site. The Stowe Group of schools (Stowe, Ashfold, Swanbourne House and Winchester House) are situated on four separate sites in Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire and educate children from 3-18 years.
