Our client is looking for an Events Administrator to provide administrative support to the Event Managers. This is a hybrid role, based in York or Birmingham and is 2 days a week in the office and 3 days a week from home and the role is until January 2027. If you have excellent administrative skills and proven administration experience in a busy, customer-focused environment, this is the role for you.
Main duties of the role
· Undertake administrative processes for events
· Act as first point of contact for events
· Send event communications
· Monitor email inboxes, responding to queries and updating records
· Process delegate and speaker registrations, payments and refunds
· Produce and deliver promotional emails and other marketing materials
· Use social media accounts to promote and publicise events
· Prepare event materials including badges, delegate packs and course materials
· Attend in-person events to provide onsite support
· Prepare reports from databases.
· Create and update event webpages.
· Technically produce online events, controlling camera and microphones and the running of the online event
· Conduct technical tests with speakers prior to events to check connection and run through how events will work on the day
· Provide technical assistance to all attendees to enable them to access the event
· To be prepared and willing to travel across England and stay away overnight when required.
