Cherrybrook is opening a dedicated male-only unit, and we’re looking for Care Assistants to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support men in a comfortable, tailored environment where your understanding, patience, and kindness will make a real difference.

Cherrybrook Care Home is a beautifully designed, 120 bedded care home in Bradford, supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, dementia, and behaviours that challenge. We do so with compassion, structure, and warmth.

What your day will look like

As Care Assistant, you’ll help residents with personal care, meals, mobility, and daily activities while promoting dignity and independence. You’ll provide companionship, support, and a reassuring presence that helps residents feel comfortable and respected in a male-only setting.

About you

  • Level 2 in Health & Social Care, Care Certificate, or 6 to 12 month’s experience in a care setting.
  • Calm, patient, and compassionate.
  • Confident supporting men with complex needs / requirements.
  • Team-oriented and committed to consistent care.
