Summary

Class 1 HGV Night Drivers Required - Ongoing Work Location: Worksop/Blyth Pay Rates (Nights):
  • £21.58 per hour (between 02:00 - 06:00)
  • £18.04 - £18.38 per hour (outside of these hours)
  • Start Times: Between 15:00 - 22:00
The Best Connection Sheffield is currently recruiting a number of Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for one of our clients based in the Worksop area. Drivers will be working 5 days per week, with the flexibility to work 5 out of 7 days during peak periods. The role involves depot-to-depot trunking, working 8-9 hour shifts, with minimal handball (if any). Assessments and inductions are available weekly, with full-time, ongoing work available from February/March. Key Responsibilities
  • Depot-to-depot trunking
  • Following daily delivery schedules
  • Completing daily vehicle checks to ensure road-worthiness
  • Driving safely and compliantly in line with UK road traffic laws
  • Communicating effectively with the transport team regarding any delays or issues
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
  • Must be able to supply two references
  • Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
  • Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
  • Reliable and professional approach
