Summary

DT Technician – Solihull

We are currently seeking a qualified Design & Technology Technician to work in a secondary school in Solihull, starting after February half term.

The role:

• Supporting the DT department across workshops and practical lessons

  
  

• Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for lessons

  
  

• Maintaining machinery and ensuring a safe working environment

  
  

• Supporting staff and students during practical activities

  
  

  Requirements:

  • Fully qualified DT Technician

    
    

  • Workshop qualified (Secondary Core Level Health & Safety)

    
    

  • DATA (Design and Technology Association) certification for workshop machines – essential

    
    

  • Strong understanding of workshop safety procedures and risk assessments
