Be the backbone of a fast-moving operation, do you love precision, organisation, and knowing that things are exactly where they should be? Are you at your best when you're solving problems, spotting discrepancies, and keeping operations running like clockwork?
We're recruiting an Operational Assistant, Stock Control to join a busy, growing operation where accuracy, pace and teamwork are key. This is a hands-on role at the heart of the warehouse and supply chain function, ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility and variety in their day.
What you'll be doing
You'll play a vital role in ensuring stock records accurately reflect physical stock across multiple warehouse locations, including third-party logistics partners.
Your day-to-day will include:
. Booking in, transferring and moving stock between warehouse locations
. Investigating stock discrepancies, shortages and fulfilment issues
. Carrying out regular stock counts and adjusting system records accordingly
. Supporting and leading the annual stock take across all sites
. Ensuring goods are shipped on time to support daily invoicing
. Identifying damaged, obsolete and quarantined stock and coordinating re-work or disposal
. Supporting goods-in schedules and liaising with suppliers and internal teams
. Assisting with warehouse layout and stock level changes
. Recording data, maintaining issue logs and producing KPI reports
. Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
You'll work closely with Purchasing, Customer Services, Warehousing, Transport and Sales teams, as well as external suppliers and customers when required.
What we're looking for
You're detail-driven, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
. Experience in stock control or warehouse operations
. Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
. Confidence using WMS/ERP (Netsuite) systems and Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
. A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work under pressure
