About the RoleWe are looking for a compassionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant to support young pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a temporary, long-term assignment with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful applicant will provide one-to-one support, demonstrating empathy, flexibility, and responsiveness to each pupil’s individual needs.
Salary: £82 – £90 per day, dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspire and motivate pupils while supporting colleagues effectively.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
• Listen carefully to pupils to understand and assess their individual needs.
• Apply a resilient approach, using tailored teaching strategies.
• Utilise experience working with SEN pupils to provide targeted support.
