Deputy Nursery Manager (Level 3) – Up to £35,000



The nursery is a well-established early years setting with a large outdoor play area used daily by children of all ages. This Deputy Nursery Manager role is room based, with some office responsibilities, supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery alongside the manager.

What You’ll Need



  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)

  • Recent experience in a senior or deputy role within a nursery

  • Strong working knowledge of the EYFS framework

  • Ability to balance leadership, administration, and hands-on practice

  • Clear, professional communication skills



What You’ll Do



  • Support the Nursery Manager with day-to-day operational responsibilities

  • Work within a room to model consistent early years practice

  • Assist with staffing, rotas, and administrative tasks

  • Support staff development and maintain quality standards

  • Build professional relationships with parents and external partners

  • Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS compliance
