Your responsibilities will include: Accurate and timely typing of referral letters, including urgent referrals and GP dictations Managing patient and service-related enquiries and liaising with internal and external providers Using digital dictation software and the NHS eReferral (Choose & Book) system Summarising and coding relevant information from patients clinical records in line with Practice protocols Maintaining patient records and files, managing telephone calls and supporting general office procedures You may also be required to provide occasional reception cover during periods of leave, sickness or increased demand. You will project a professional, positive and friendly image to patients and visitors, whether in person or over the telephone.
