The Planning and Performance Team within CDIO FPPOT offers a high standard of service to CDIO, driving operational excellence by developing the business plan, associated performance measures and holding the Leadership Team to account for the performance in relation to CDIO Objectives.
Through the utilisation of established relationships and development of new networks, we deliver continuous improvement in both business performance and delivery, presenting accurate performance information across the business. We analyse information to identify and understand the impact on the business in order to influence stakeholders and challenge outcomes. We work collaboratively and corporately to support the integration of the risk across CDIO; delivering business improvements through continuous planning, utilising real time information to drive performance discussions.
Job description
The SO Reporting Lead will be responsible for running the Central Reporting Team, alongside the delivery of existing reporting, leading the creation of new reports to meet organisation needs and delivery of adhoc reports and analysis.
The post holder will build a full understanding of all data flows, understanding how performance reporting across all aspects of CDIO integrates into one service offering.
This is achieved by:
• Working closely with our Senior Leadership Team and reporting end users to deliver and continually improve the current report offering.
• Understanding current and future reporting needs and challenges
• Delivering on a migration roadmap to transform all reporting, moving more towards real-time visualisation

Responsibilities:
Maintaining strong relationships with G7 Reporting Lead to present visible and consumable IT performance data to CDIO SLT.
Resilient Leadership to promote wider understanding of the performance offering and its importance.
Delivering to time and to the required quality ensuring assurance processes are embedded.
Invest in the running and development of the team to build capability while contributing to making CDIO a great place for a technology career.
Proactively identify deviations in performance and work collaboratively to understand drivers and address issues whilst managing our core products.
Actively seek feedback enabling us to continue to learn and improve and to ensure we are consistently meeting stakeholder requirements and expectations.
Line manage, develop and coach a team of HO Reporting analysts.
Essential Criteria:
• Strong Technical reporting and data analysis skills including technical skills such Power BI, along with WCAG awareness.
• Experience in delivery of reports to tight timescales and based on user requirements.
• Understanding and manipulating complex data and disparate sets and making them easy to interpret.
• Experience in analytics, using data to identify trends and patterns.
• Experience in running a diverse team.
• Challenging and influencing within and externally to own department.
• Proven track record of delivering in a fast paced, complex environment.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Clear and concise communication style and can confidently communicate to large audiences.
