Summary


CAMHS Mental Health Navigator is a non-clinical role this is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in mental health settings.

The post is a full time 37.5 hours per week and is based on the second floor at London House in Bracknell, the trust HQ.

The role will predominantly be in support of your clinical colleagues. There will be elements of liaison with referrers such as GPs, families and schools. Contacting families seeking feedback post assessment, also contacting families that may have been waiting longer than anticipated. You will be supported and guided with this by the wider clinical team in CPE.

As this is a new post/role there is plenty of opportunity to evolve the various responsibilities and to make it a very exciting and unique opportunity for the successful candidate.

Supervision will be provided monthly within the team.

As a band 4 role the pay scale is £27,485-£30,162 per annum.

• Will require liaison with referring individuals if more information is required.
• Developing relationships with wider CAMHS and local authority services.
• Working closely with clinical colleagues to ensure a smooth journey for clients open to our service.
• Contacting families seeking feedback after assessment.
• Contacting families/individuals that may have breached the 4 week wait time to reassure that they will be contacted.

• Experience of working in mental health teams.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to challenging workload.

• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.

• Good IT skills and clear writing skills for the purposes of documentation.
