Summary
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and commercially focused Junior Commercial Property Solicitor (newly qualified up to 3 years' PQE) to join a busy commercial property team in Newcastle. The successful candidate will gain exposure to high‑quality work and develop their skills within a supportive professional environment.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Handling secured lending transactions and property finance work (essential)
- Managing acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
- Drafting and negotiating leases on behalf of landlords and tenants
- Assisting with development matters, site acquisition & due diligence
- Supporting senior lawyers on complex or large-scale transactions
Suitable candidates will:
- Be qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ-3 PQE)
- Have demonstrable experience in secured lending work
- Be capable of managing a caseload with appropriate supervision
- Possess strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Be confident in building and maintaining client relationships
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a team setting
- Exposure to a wide range of commercial property matters
