Carpet World Cardiff Ltd is looking for a Social Media Manager to build and grow our online presence. You will showcase our bespoke furniture, cabinets, and installation projects across key social platforms. The role focuses on creating engaging content, managing daily activity, and supporting lead generation. You will work closely with management to ensure our digital image reflects our quality craftsmanship.
Main duties include:
• Develop and manage social media content schedules for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and others.
• Create engaging posts, reels and stories showcasing our furniture, cabinets and installation work.
• Capture and organise before-and-after photos and short on-site videos for regular posting.
• Write clear, attractive captions and hashtags tailored to each platform and audience.
• Monitor comments, messages and reviews, responding promptly and professionally.
• Run basic paid campaigns to promote offers, projects and brand awareness (where required).
• Track performance (reach, engagement, enquiries) and provide simple monthly reports.
Skills and Education:
• Proven experience in managing social media for a business or brand.
• Good skills in content creation (photos, short videos, reels) and basic editing tools (e.g. Canva).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple platforms and deadlines.
• Interest in interiors, furniture, joinery or home improvement is an advantage.
