BI Developer / Analyst

Hybrid 1 day per week in Lichfield, Group Support
Fulltime, 37.5 hours

We’re looking for an experienced BI Developer / Analyst to join our growing Data & Analytics team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape our BI capability as we scale, working with modern tools including Microsoft Power BI, DAX, SQL and Microsoft Fabric.

What you’ll be doing

  • Designing and developing highquality Power BI dashboards, reports and semantic models
  • Building reliable, scalable data models to support selfservice analytics
  • Using strong DAX and SQL skills to prepare and shape data
  • Supporting ETL/ELT processes and ensuring accurate, timely data for reporting
  • Implementing and maintaining secure, governed BI solutions (including RLS)
  • Working closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into insight
  • Helping to drive a datadriven culture across the organisation

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience developing Power BI models, dashboards and reports
  • Strong DAX, SQL and data visualisation capability
  • Experience with data modelling, ETL/ELT and cloudbased analytics (Azure/Fabric)
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to nontechnical colleagues

Desirable skills include: experience with other BI tools (Qlik/Tableau/SSRS), Alteryx, or experience in health/social care.
